Gabriel Skinner is a multidisciplinary artist working primarily in figurative sculpture. He received his BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Memphis in 2025. His work has been shown in galleries nationally and throughout his hometown of Memphis, TN.

Skinner draws inspiration from nature and storytelling, often using animal forms as allegory. He is interested in perception and how external influences color our understanding of the world and ourselves. He has found that ceramics is an ideal medium for storytelling through its tactile qualities, permeability, and transformative nature.
